Text Box: Welcome to www.rodbenders.net     This site was launched in November 2005 in the wake of the second annual Battle of the Boats Nab Tower Winter Cod Competition   The site is completely independent and run by my self and supported by a group of anglers and skippers as a hobby and a service to the sport of deep sea boat sea fishing.   Reports   The aim of the site is to give up to date information about what fish are being landed and where and this is backed up with pictures and info supplied by you guys. Our Homepage will feature News and provide the very latest info and  pictures of recent catches More reports can be found on the ‘Catch Report 1 and Catch Reports 2’ pages which are normally posted only during the summer months   Competitions   We aim to provide competitions info for anglers. Having been involved in regular fishing trips for the last 40years I know that there are competitions around but they tend to be very local or are closed shop events all the event advertised on our site are open to all Charter Boat Anglers.   We also run an annual competition whereby we monitor from our reports all potential super specimens see the competition page for more info.     Site Development   The site will continue to grow as it has from the out set with new features being added as we go.   Your Support   The success of this site is dependant on the support of the thousands of you who go sea fishing on or are the skippers of our U K charter fleet.
